These U-285 signals come in lots of shades of blue and grey and all that I have ever seen are unmarked. The catalog drawing comes from a 1923 G.P. Co. Catalog which can be viewed in the catalog section on the NIA website. Thanks to Elton Gish, there is an incredible variety of catalogs of glass, porcelain and other insulators, from the 1800s onward. The catalog section can only be viewed by NIA members. If you are a member, and haven't looked at the catalogs, I think you will be fascinated by what is there. If you do not have a NIA membership, the ability to view the catalogs, is more than worth the cost of membership. So what do you think? Are these G.P. products? |
