I bought this telegram at a Toledo Stamp Show many years ago when I was collecting paper telegram items. The minute I read the message I knew the historical importance. The message was sent on 4/21 and recv'd 3 days later in Newton, Illinois.

It's not to often you get a message that says "we are all alive ..."

Pretty hard to prove it's real ... but I know.
