I went out yesterday to see a young farm couple that had a bunch of insulators for sale. They had inherited the farm that was once owned by a picker or hoarer and there were hundreds of insulators left even after they had sold about 900 of them. Most were damaged and common and the only ones that I came away with were seven baby Locke Hewletts with all their hardware. The two insulators from Japan were already on my truck as I had just pulled them out of a dumpster at the office a few days ago. I don't really need any of these but they all were due to be trashed and the metal recycled.
