Here is a recent and rare discovery from Poland. This is a CD 547 "Hare" in milk glass. Previously this CD was thought to only be of Russian origin. This piece dates to around 1900 possibly making it the oldest Polish glass insulator. Poland started with ceramic pieces and later went to glass. The location where this was found and the time period strongly suggest this piece was produced in Poland. It has a slight iridescent appearance and a strong green tint went under lit. Definitely a very cool piece with a lot of character. Lots of stress lines in the glass but it's all there!
