I was recently shown this CD 128 insulator that was found in the sand near Cairo, Egypt, by a non collector. Since he knows very little about insulators I said I would look into it. The only foreign glass insulator book I have is Glass Insulators from Outside North America (2nd edition, 1993) by M. Albers and N. R. Woodward. It lists this insulator as a CD 128, in Sage Green, with an Arabic embossing and that only one example is known to Marilyn Albers, and that it is unattributed. So I'm looking for help concerning this insulator. Has it been attributed to a manufacturer, and have more been accounted for since 1993? The next photograph shows a close up of the embossing which is very similar to the drawing in the Albers / Woodward book.
