I have been told that the damage seen here on the dome of a CD 121 is factory related. The explanation was that it is a styration that occurs because of the quantities that were produced using the same wooden mold for hundreds of insulators. I have no idea if this makes any sense. Does anybody have enough experience with Australian manufacturing methods to know whether this is accurate? If so, please let me know. Thanks.
