I recently came across a picture Jack Foote posted some time ago, of a Line Materials 6" suspension dated 1961 . I purchased the small unmarked double groove dead end some years ago. I can not recall seeing another example of either, in person or even just a picture. Are there others out there in captivity in this unusual colour? Are there any areas where these are in use?

It is assumed that sky tone porcelain was produced for the Highway Beautification Act of October 1965. Lady Bird Johnson's nationwide effort to make the roadways, parks, etc., more ascetically pleasing. The 1961 date indicates this was produced before the Act.

I just know this posting will get Gill Hedges attention, but sorry to say, neither is for sale. So in an effort to get my Want in first, yes I would like to acquire one of the blue 6 inch.
