Another huge air raid siren from the Cold War days (if not back to the WW2 era) that once sat on fire alarm crossarms throughout a Boston suburb. Like the fire alarm call box system, these sirens have been disconnected/abandoned for quite a long time. This is a Google image from nearly 10 years ago and from what I understand these sirens have been removed.
