Quite an interesting detail in the form of a "grid" on the top of this late U-1692 from Denmark. The goal was probably to create better adhesion for the wires that had contact with the insulator in these places. And maybe there is another purpose and application behind it. Maybe someone knows something, I will be grateful for your opinions.
