An ancient 'fluted' transformer still in operation, stepping up the distribution voltage to serve rural residents near a town in western Minnesota. The only significant change is that the transformer has been "upgraded" by removing the old downward-facing primary bushings and drilling the transformer lid to accept two modern bushings.
