Saturday, Samantha and I went to a flea market and a few antique stores. We didn't find any insulators. On our way home we stopped at a barn sale. There was a rack with some insulators on it. We dug through and spotted one that wasn't aqua. It had a coat of rust on it so we couldn't tell what color it was for sure, but we knew it was worth the dollar they were asking. Turns out it was half off everything that day. When I went to pay the guy said "you can just have it", and I said ok! I got it cleaned up today, and it's a nice medium electric blue. I also noticed the flat spot on the dome, it looks like an impression but I'm not sure. Either way it was a great birthday surprise for me!
