These generally were 20 inches and diameter, green on top with white underneath. These finishes were baked-on porcelain enamel for the most part. Radial wave reflectors were introduced soon after 1900 and continued through the 1960s for incandescent street lights. These reflectors generally were flat or had a bowled center interior for larger bulbs (like this one from c.1915 has). |
