A Pennsylvania eBay seller recently offered the POSTAL beehive in the center and described the glass color as light olive green, which I have no problems with as a color descriptor. The three posted auction photos screamed CALIFORNIA GLASS! so I had to bid on it and ended up winning the auction. I have posed it next to a California-manufactured green POSTAL beehive on the left and a sage green California-manufactured POSTAL beehive on the right. The green beehive color is softer than it normally is because of a profuse quantity of milk in the glass. I have not been able to closely match the glass color with any other California piece in my collection, even with all the fuggly green California baby signals. I also masked the POSTAL embossing, and compared it with the POSTAL embossed beehives in the known California glass colors and still did not come up with an exact match. The closest glass color match I could find is the following comparison photo of the light olive green Postal beehive and the California beehive on the right in a nondistinct mix of clear and some type of green.
