I found this at a local antique place. It is a Westinghouse watthour meter, single phase, type CS mounted to a commemorative plaque as a service award/retirement gift to a long-time employee of Duke Power. Inside the meter is a brass tag that says SOUTHERN PUBLIC UTILITIES CO./17169-3B. Below the meter is a brass plate inscribed: TO/T.A. BASS/SERVICE/DEC. 15, 1952/THROUGHMAY 31, 1977/FROM/DUKE POWER METER READERS. Inquiries welcome.
