I recently posted a story on ICON of a 2 mile stretch of poles that were chopped down by contractors of BNSF. (Refer to the "Hunts and Finds" section for more pictures of our adventure). My fellow hunters (SPIGs) and friend Pat Scott were on the scene to remove 904 insulators. It was great! Although 95% of what we retrieved were common stuff, this fantastic HG CO beehive with a huge chunk of metal junk in the dome fell into our arms, so to speak. Just goes to show that you should always check out each and every piece of "common stuff" because you never know what you might find! |
