First step after removing the movement is getting the dents removed from the case. It's 18k gold but the lugs are hallow and unfortunately dent quite easily. The case is on the way back from a gold smith. Filling the lugs in with two part clear epoxy resin will ensure that they don't dent. However, I have to do it very carefully to not get resin anywhere else on the case.
