U-967 was made by the R. Thomas & Sons Co. circa 1904. It is a two-part glazeweld. Note the beautiful mottled butterscotch glaze and the blue-jean seam inside the bottom skirt. The BJS is characteristic of large Thomas insulators made before about 1912.
