I went to my favorite local auction this week. No insulators worth buying, but they had this pot metal cast horse and jockey statue. Seems to be missing the tail, missing the reins, and looks like it was spray painted at one time.

Why did I buy it? Because there is an original tag on the bottom from a toy store in Pittsburgh I've never heard of. Haven't been able to find out much about the store yet except that it was founded around 1840 and may have closed in the 1920's. The form of street address used on the tag is from before Pittsburgh redid the street names and numbers in 1884. So, this toy may be well over 100 years old. A nice addition to my horse collection.
