MONSTER Rattlesnake tail

I found this among my father's belongings. That massive tail in the middle is from a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake that he killed 50 years ago right after nearly stepping on it.

Notice how the end of the longest tail hasn't even begun to taper yet, which means the original length was considerably longer!
