Had a jumble of old cloth wiring and porcelain wire holders, this standard-size lamp socket was in the mess. Embossed "A&W Inc." Could this be the A&W Root Beer/Hamburger chain? Seems odd a socket would be made special for them, any info would be appreciated. A&W Drive-in restaurants started in 1919 at Lodi, Calif, about 30 miles south of Sacramento.
