This clock was used with a recording demand meter; there is a set of internal contacts that is closed at a preset time once a day (or other interval as desired by the power company, hourly was quite common), this activated the demand register printer. I believe that this clock was made by General Electric based on pictures I have seen in old books; you will note that somebody removed the manufacturer's label just below the clock hands. The clock works well on120V/60c AC but I have never tested the contact interval timing. Clock power feed terminals are the left pair; interval contacts terminals are the right pair. |
