I purchase three neon glow lamps a few months ago because of their unusually large electrodes. The lamp's bulb has the typical shape of a GE NE-34, 2 watt neon glow lamp, but the electrodes in this lamp are a peaked dome shape. The lamp is bright for a neon glow lamp and uses a wire wound resistor in the base instead of the usual carbon type resistor.
