Found these online and thought they were interesting enough to share. How the schematic of Duncan-Locke suspensions came to be in a Russian museum is anybody's guess.

An email from George Sukhoff adds this ; That's an illustration I've used for the first version of my article on suspension insulator history. The illustration itself came from Marten's technical encyclopaedia of 1928 or maybe Elton Gish sent it to me (I don't remember for sure but it's listed on the references paragraph, this very illustration seems to be present in several books of old times).
