The classic 1912 black and white image on a glass slide produced by G. Haven Bishop, photographer for Southern California Edison, of insulators produced by the California Glass Insulator Company has been recreated with pieces from my California collection. The collection pieces have been carefully selected to recreate as closely as possible the insulators that were in production at the time of the original photograph dated May 14, 1912 about one month or 45 days after the factory opened.
