These are some model powerlines I modeled using beads as insulators. From left to right, the first pole is a model of Toronto's powerlines from the 1940's with a streetlight relative to that era. The pole after that also dates from the 1940's with two transformers. The next poles date from the late '50's, two of which have black transformers, one cylinder, the other box shaped. The last pole does NOT have composites. They are porcelain line posts from the '80's. A CD 152 is used to compare size.
