San Luis Valley Southern critter rounds the curve into Blanca, Colorado this typical day during the monsoon season of late summer, when the days are bright and the afternoons threaten of thunderstorms. The Blanca Telephone Company lines were slathered with some of the best early threaded glass a person could ever hope to find! Crazy colored Denvers, 1871 ponies, all sorts of good stuff. This is one of the only shots I have ever seen showing one of their poles with any clarity.
