Hand filed threads was tough going. Started by marking out 4-threads per inch with a pencil. Thread insulator on, file the rub marks, repeat many times per leg, until leg if fully threaded. The taper helped get the insulator started. This was my first one ever so it came out a little rough, but good enough.
