Removeable fir dowels with smaller oak dowel pins inside for the somewhat larger pieces . these are made for both 1" and 1 3/8" threaded insulators of larger size and fairly low vertical profile they will keep them from falling from the shelves and from hitting one another as well if the earth shakes .
