Picked this one off of eBay. Think it is dirty? That is the glaze. I tried to clean it up, but all of this trash is under the glaze! Nearly rubbed my elbow off before I realized the dirt is part of the insulator. Nice early piece. Just had a conversation with Elton Gish. I have re-labeled this from a U-498 to a U-499. Could be an early Westinghouse according to some.
