These are OAKMAN Demijohns with the 1877 patent date on them. They are still encased in the original wicker. The caps are nicely made reproductions. The patent date is at the top of the bottle near the screw threads. Really cool go-with for an OAKMAN or insulator collector. Some people take the wicker off, some leave it on. BOTTOM VIEW
