This is an otherwise standard Brookfield CD 152 [080] but I was just wondering if this is slug-embossing?...Thanks for any help, Thanks to the many folks who responded to this question regarding this particular piece. The consensus is this: This effect was most likely some how caused by re-working the mould . When this effect was seen in the early days of collecting the term "slug-embossing" was designated for lack of knowledge of manufacturers' mould re-working practices.
