I recently acquired some CP porcelain. All are marked CP but a few also have 3/33 on the other side. They all came complete with older style metal pins . Not only are the ties copper, but so is the main cable. Something that I have not seen before is the style of the copper tie as shown on the insulator in front. It has loops at both ends to facilitate installation. I thought that was a factory thing, but no, Douglas adds, ".... we used to make our own ties in the field just like those. I have never seen any factory made ties other that the more modern "Preform" brand style ties." U-669, thanks Nick.
