Neat street shot of Augusta, Wisconsin showing what a real America used to look like before everyone bought off on the sterilized and faceless landscape we all seem to aspire to today. The cars suggest a late-teens vintage on the photo. The local phone company liked the idea of Brown's Ponies doubling the capacity of their arm/s, a somewhat unusual practice that shows up from time to time in old photos.
