Here is an aerial photo of the gutter top assembly yard as it looks today at the intersection of the southwesterly extension of Castro Street and First Street, now known as Embarcadero West. The Transcontinental Railroad ROW runs parallel to Embarcadero West. The entirety of the yard is covered by the Port of Oakland.
