Here are my thoughts... A true 8 has a indent on either side as shown. A droopy or "rolled over" 6 will only have the indent on the right side. You will notice the regular stroke of the 6 on the left which does not have this indent.

The ones I have seen are the "droopy 6" variant as you can not see the tell tale "it's an 8" indent on the left of the 6.
