At the Aurora, OR Bottle and Insulator show 2/21/2015 I picked up this Field Book that had hand written details of telephone pole installation's done in the Portland, OR area between 1920 - 1927.

It included Data taken in the field with diagrams. The details included condition of existing cross-arms, diagrams of cross-arm placement, if transpositions were used on that pole, guy wires, and even the cost of meals while on the job.
