To see how well the LED bulb in the previous photograph works, I took comparison pictures of an insulator in a light box, then with a hockey puck LED base illumination, then with the FEIT bulb inserted into the insulator. I'm not totally pleased with the results, but I think if I could get it further into the pin hole, the results might be better. A differently shaped lamp might give better results.
