This train was photographed on the former CNW line from Madison, IL to Nelson, IL. The line is now torn up in many places. On this day, and to this day, it was the longest freight train I had seen. It was 172 cars, coming in at 10372 feet. These four units took their almost two miles of train north on this cloudy day, 11-5-95.
