The Blue Streak was a hotshot Cotton Belt train from the old days. Southern Pacific, which controlled the Cotton Belt, kept the name for its nightly intermodal from East St. Louis, IL to Los Angeles, CA. This is train 1BSMFF 06 passing Kirkwood, MO 10-6-96. It is after the UP merger, but SP and UP operations were yet to have integrated, so power was still purely SP and train ID was also SP.
