SP train 1ARESC 18 blasting west at 15 m.p.h. (5 m.p.h. over the speed limit for this train) on the poorly maintained ex Rock Island line in Missouri. This was taken at Creve Coeur Park in St. Louis County, MO 2-25-95, just a few months before SP stopped running coal on this line, and not too long before SP itself was merged into UP the next year.
