I am a collector from New Zealand and I am also a glass artist. My new works are coloured Glass Telegraph Poles. I thought they may interest a group of people like yourselves as not only the form but also the material is of significance to you !

I have been collecting porcelain insulators( we where never lucky enough to have glass ones in our little country) for about 5 years and making Glass art for about the same time so it was only a matter of time before I married the two.

They are made using the lost wax method of casting and Pole is a one-off. The are made from coloured glass crystal.
