Here is the miniature insulators and pins referred to in Don Briel's post. The cross-arm measures 3 7/8 inches long. The insulators and pins were produced on a 3-D printer. Lynda Katonak started creating the insulators and when I questioned her about them she indicated that the insulators had threads. I then contacted the creator and asked if they could also produce threaded pins. I send them specifications and measurements of a typical standard wooden pin which they were then able to reproduce as a miniature to match the threading of the insulators. [id=423417974]
