Big luck today: at first sight it seems a normal italian "pony" but looking better it has the mark GINORI incuse on the external bell. Untill now, we knew only one specimen marked Ginori with ink under the glaze owned by my friend Christian but none with the incuse. We do not know when Ginori stopped to mark its insulators with the incuse, but it may be that some ponies are older than we think, even before 1900. Sometimes also common insulators can hide surprises!
