Was following a Dakota, Minnesota, Eastern line on Google Earth last week in Southeast Iowa and came across to out standing spanned railroad bridges that was a quarter mile apart form each other. My wife and I took off early this morning to go down and check them out. This one is the first one which is all off three eights of a mile long spanning across a low lying area that seems to be a major drainage outlet for the surrounding valley. There was a placard on each bridge that stated that they were erected in 1939. Pretty awesome sight to see.
