Here is a large, somewhat mottled brown glazed porcelain wall tube marked THOMAS-U (I think it's a U). I am told these were used in a building to carry high voltage conductor and that it was likely a wooden wall since the tube is too short for a brick wall. It measures 7-1/8" long; the unglazed end has an outer diameter of 2-1/8"; and the inner diameter is uniform for the whole length at 1-1/8". I searched the Picture Poster gallery, but couldn't find anything quite like it. It's virtually mint and can be yours for $25 plus shipping. Thanks for looking. |
