EIN 070 H.G.CO. / MAY 2 1893 front skirt and PETTICOAT on rear. Like most whiskey amber HGCO signals I have seen this one is a mixture of color depeneding on what area of the insulator your looking at with back lighting. The the lower skirt is more a honey color while the guts are dark orangey color and the top of dome a ligher orange. This piece certainly screams orange when in a window sill with the sun shinning through from behind.

Damage report :

The condition is near mint. In fact above the base the insulator is perfect. No chips out of the skirt at all. As the sharp drip points go there are two drips mostly gone straight down from the 2 of MAY 2. Whatever caused that damage also caused a crack coming up from base that ends right beside the number 2. The good news is this piece has the smaller type sharp drip points. So when displaying those two imperfect drips are difficult to notice unless you get really close at eye level. There is also one more drip that is flake so lightly on the inside that I could hardly tell it was flaked at all.
