An early 1920s '1503' multipart with it's original wire. Only 3 whole examples currently exist in the hobby, all recovered from the long gone line which used to serve Dinorwic Quarry in North Wales.

They are a 2-part design with the top and middle skirt being cemented onto the lower part and a hollow steel pin cemented into the whole.

As far as I know these are the earliest high voltage multiparts that have ever been found in the UK.
