Although now and then there have been reports of bear sightings in Carlisle we have never seen them. Well, that all changed a few days ago!

This appears to be a brown bear cub wandering across our yard into the woods. We have a 300+ acre area of conservation land behind our property, so who knows what lurks out there?

Anyway, it was quite a surprise for us!!
