Shown is a vintage 250 watt long wave UV light that was used in theaters for special effects. It needed rewiring and relamping. Uses a 250 watt clear mercury vapor lamp. The filter is doped with nickel oxide which filters out almost all the visible light, but allows the long wave UV to readily pass through. Can't wait to use it for Halloween!
