Early Threaded Pins

Far right is a typical pin, standard threads, circa 1970. Left of it is a circa 1900 pin in its original paint. The 2 pins on the left are circa late 1870s. They still have the original paint on the top half but the base of the pins have been whittled down in order to fit into holes drilled into the beams in the attic of a late 1870s LS&MS station. The 3 left pins all came from the same station. The insulators found were 133 55 3 date and variations of 126 55s.
